One Percent Press and Failures’ Union have started a fund raising effort to help release their 2007 album “Sinker” on vinyl through the program Kickstarter. We plan on releasing the record before their tour of the UK with the band Bedford Falls. In addition to having LPs, both bands should have a split 7″ together for the tour.
You can read more about our fundraiser efforts on our Kickstarter page and you can view the UK dates on the Failures’ Union show page.
Also, in a rare synchronicity, a video that the band shot back in 2007 with Eric Ayotte and Super Bobby has been salvaged and is now being hosted on If You Make it. The video was shot in support of “Sinker” but was scrapped when a chunk of the footage was lost. What luck that it should turn up now, right when we are re-releasing the album on LP!
You can view the video at If You Make It.
If you’d rather have the CD version anyway, why don’t you take a look in our shop.

Venice is Sinking leaves today, kick-starting their next stretch of shows! For tour dates you can check out their MySpace , or you can check here if you prefer to stay away from the ‘Space.
The band just released AZAR and plan on releasing a digital-only EP stylized after the maxi-singles of yore. The EP will contain the previously released song “Okay”, two covers of the band Okay, alternate versions of “Ryan’s Song,” and, of course, “Okay”. Need we even mention what the EP is called?

The new album Invitation Air by the Ginger Envelope will be released in conjunction with this year’s AthFest on the main stage June 30th.
More info to come.

From the band:
“It’s finally here! Today is the national release date for our new album, AZAR, the product of eight months of treacherous navigation of the I-85 corridor and hours recording steel drums and Javanese seed pods in the studio. AZAR’s been getting really positive reviews, and we are very proud of it. You can pick up a copy of it here ($10 including s/h!) or you can buy it from your favorite online retailer (Amazon’s got the MP3s for $8.99, I think). Hopefully, it’s in a record store near you, if those still exist!”
As mentioned the CD is available from either us or the band for $10 post paid. It is available in MP3 format from a number of places, such as Itunes, Emusic, etc. For wholesale concerns please feel free to contact us or our physical distributor Stickfigure Distribution at info@stickfigure.com.

Download the new record from DownloadPunk or from wherever you download stuff!
Also of note, check out the new video they did for the title track! Super funny. Their best video yet?
