One Percent Press and Failures’ Union have started a fund raising effort to help release their 2007 album “Sinker” on vinyl through the program Kickstarter.  We plan on releasing the record before their tour of the UK with the band Bedford Falls.  In addition to having LPs, both bands should have a split 7″ together for the tour.

Also, in a rare synchronicity, a video that the band shot back in 2007 with Eric Ayotte and Super Bobby has been salvaged and is now being hosted on If You Make it.  The video was shot in support of “Sinker” but was scrapped when a chunk of the footage was lost.  What luck that it should turn up now, right when we are re-releasing the album on LP!

One Man Machine begins a tour that will take them up the east coast and through much of the south. The band will be debuting a lot of new material which you can check out, along with the full tour dates and details, on their myspace page.

One Man Machine released “Get My Sound” with us in 2008. You can pick up a copy in the shop.

One Percent Press will be at SPX this weekend! We’ll be at table G4 having lots of fun with new comics and a new anthology with stories by Alexis Frederick-Frost, James Hindle, Joe Lamber, and JP Coovert! We’ll be posting pictures on our Flickr throughout the convention as well. Come check it out!!

JP Coovert will be attending the Twin Cities Zine Fest in Minneapolis, MN this weekend on behalf of One Percent Press, peddling the usual assortment of goodies.

The band just released AZAR and plan on releasing a digital-only EP stylized after the maxi-singles of yore. The EP will contain the previously released song “Okay”, two covers of the band Okay, alternate versions of “Ryan’s Song,” and, of course, “Okay”. Need we even mention what the EP is called?

The Ginger Envelope is on tour with Madeline in support of their new CD “Invitation Air” which should be in the shop this week! We’ll keep you posted as soon as we get the CDs in, but in the meantime you should check the band’s MySpace page for dates and info.
