Venice is Sinking on Tour, Digital EP to be Released Sept. 22nd
Venice is Sinking leaves today, kick-starting their next stretch of shows! For tour dates you can check out their MySpace , or you can check here if you prefer to stay away from the ‘Space.
The band just released AZAR and plan on releasing a digital-only EP stylized after the maxi-singles of yore. The EP will contain the previously released song “Okay”, two covers of the band Okay, alternate versions of “Ryan’s Song,” and, of course, “Okay”. Need we even mention what the EP is called?

Venice is Sinking has listed some out of town shows on their myspace
page. In related news, the band recently recorded some cover songs of the band Okay which we hopefully will be releasing in some capacity in the coming months. The band’s most recent release, AZAR
, has been getting great reviews and is available for $10 postage paid from our shop Plaguers film

“It’s finally here! Today is the national release date for our new album, AZAR, the product of eight months of treacherous navigation of the I-85 corridor and hours recording steel drums and Javanese seed pods in the studio. AZAR’s been getting really positive reviews, and we are very proud of it. You can pick up a copy of it here ($10 including s/h!) or you can buy it from your favorite online retailer (Amazon’s got the MP3s for $8.99, I think). Hopefully, it’s in a record store near you, if those still exist!”

Check out the new Venice is Sinking video for Ryan’s Song at Stereogum. The song is off their new full length AZAR which is currently for preorder in our shop. It is also available digitally from a host of online providers.
The CD will be available nationally March 31st.
